These cheery handcrafted bamboo spoons have had their handles dipped in red and green Japanese lacquer.
Use them in the sugar bowl or as teaspoons to go with gorgeous Japanese ceramic cups. They are great for condiments at the table of course but they are also the perfect size for eating small cups of pudding, rich soup or one of our favourite Japanese foods - chawan mushi ( steamed savoury custard) which are cooked and served in teacups. Ok, now we are hungry.
