Could you please tell me a little more about your products? 

Zenbu Home offers a small selection of hand-picked homewares, vintage kimono and other traditional goods sourced from Japan by Jane and Gerard of Zenbu Tours. For that reason the store will stock varying amounts of product - and we'd be ever so grateful for your understanding if we are running low! Rest assured on our next trip we'll be stocking back up again on whatever we can!

We should probably explain that most items are 'one-offs' - either completely original, ie. the only one in existence,  or the only one of an item that our savvy selectors have come across  in their travels.  Just occasionally we buy things that we can buy more of  - and if we can, we'll let you know. We hope you'll understand that once most items have been snapped up they are gone for evermore...  

 

Does that mean that your store may be closed from time to time ? 

Yes, while we are away finding gorgeous new additions for our online store we may temporarily 'close shop' and we'll do our best to ensure everyone has plenty of notice via our newsletter, blog and social media accounts. Of course we are always contactable at info@zenbuhome.com - and welcome suggestions for new items for us to keep an eye out for in our travels! We may take a day or so to get back to you if we are travelling. 

 

What should I expect regarding the condition of goods when I receive them?

As many of our collected items are vintage or antique - it probably won't come as a surprise that they may show signs of wear or age and although we see that as a beautiful positive  - providing a sense of history and charm to each piece - we do understand that we need to communicate specifics to the customer for each item wherever necessary.  This information will be shared either through images and/or text in the product descriptions. 

 

I'm not living in Australia - can I still buy from you? 

Yes! International shipping options via Australia Post have recently been added.

We've made our selection - how do we receive our goodies?

We ship to you, free of charge in Australia. International shipping options are available via Australia Post.  Every effort will be made to provide tracking numbers so you can know when to expect delivery -  but we are not responsible for any delays that may be caused by the postal service. 

 

When will I receive my purchased item/s?

We aim to process purchases, in good faith, within 1-2 working days and ship as soon as possible after processing. Any expected delays shall be promptly communicated via email. 

 

Can you source particular items for me in Japan? 

We are always happy to discuss possibilities! We'll help you if we can.
