This handmade, one of a kind, Japanese ceramic bowl has been wrapped in a 'dark cocoa' glaze and then washed over with dark grey slip. There are some lovely residual drips and 'nest-hole' pores down into the raw clay giving this piece its unique rustic or imperfect 'wabi-sabi' appeal - is as delicious as a decorative item as it is on the table.
The size of a typical rice bowl it would also make a wonderful coffee, hot chocolate or soup bowl.
Sophisticated and stylish - this bowl feels wonderful cupped in your hands.
