While this style of cup is popularly used for tea these days, the shape determines that it was once only used for soba noodles. These are not vintage but modern interpretations.

Of course, you can use them for coffee, booze, snacks or trinkets - go crazy!

We purchased these Setoyaki pottery tea cups in a small town in Aichi prefecture, not far from Nagoya. A modern stencil printing method is used.
