This bloody gorgeous, textured chocolatey-grey, Japanese ceramic cup lined with a creamy glaze is just begging for a piping hot coffee, rich hot chocolate or warming wintry soup to be sipped from it. 

Cupping the raw slightly wrinkled and crackled exterior has a strange way of connecting you with the piece.  

Every handmade ceramic has the energy of the maker.  We don't all fall in love with the same pieces for this reason but when one grabs you, it grabs you. This certainly took our breath away. Designed and made by a respected Tokyo ceramic artist.

We have two of these gorgeous cups (sold separately). As they are handmade they have some very minor differences - which makes them more special of course. Take a close look at the surface in the images... delectable.
