It's difficult to appreciate the full gorgeousness of the soft aqua (aomidori) celadon glaze on this little vintage dish through your computer screen but trust us -she's pretty. Inside the flower motif are some Japanese characters or Kanji.
There are a couple of blemishes, caused during the glazing process - ie some little bumps of clay underneath the glaze and the shape is not perfectly symmetrical but that just adds to it's handmade character. Imperfections are appreciated in Buddhist centric cultures and by us too!
12 cm in diameter - across the top of the dish
