Obijime Sash - Multicoloured

  • This vintage 100% silk tie formed with several thin cords and a tassel on each end is one of several forms of tie that which can form a top layer to the wider obi sash. They traditionally 'finish' the look of the layered Kimono ensemble but we like to use them to tie kimono we wear as robes or dressing gowns. I've used them instead of a chain for bold jewellery - and they can look great as a thin belt over a simple dress. I've seen people use them as curtain ties too!

They are also great for those handy with a needle and thread and other crafty types - lovely drawstrings or handles for bags etc.

    Condition - Excellent.
